Indian cricket star Mohammed Shami recently reunited with his daughter Aaira after a prolonged separation. The father-daughter duo was seen spending quality time shopping together. Shami shared his joy on Instagram, posting, “Time stood still when I saw her again after long time. Love you more than words can say, Bebo.” The heartfelt message garnered over 160,000 likes within an hour of being posted.
However, Shami’s estranged wife, Hasin Jahan, has made serious allegations concerning the meeting. In an interview with anandabazar.com, she claimed, “It’s just for the sake of showing off. My daughter’s passport has expired, and Shami’s signature is required for the new passport. That is why she went to meet her father, but Shami did not sign. He took her to a shopping mall associated with a company he endorses. My daughter bought shoes and clothes from that shop, where Shami doesn’t have to pay. That’s why she was taken there. My daughter wanted a guitar and a camera, but he didn’t buy those for her.”
Hasin Jahan further alleged, “Shami never inquires about my daughter. He is only busy with himself. He met her just a month back but did not post anything then. I think there was nothing to post now, so he uploaded this video.”
As of now, Mohammed Shami has not publicly responded to these allegations.
