Shivamogga: A two-year-old boy named Atharv tragically passed away in a Mangaluru hospital after a week-long struggle with severe burn injuries caused by a hot tea spill. Atharv, son of Rajesh and Ashwini from Hiremane village in Hosanagara taluk, suffered the burns during a family gathering.
The accident happened as his mother, Ashwini, was serving tea to relatives who had come to offer condolences following a neighbor’s passing. The child accidentally spilled the hot tea on himself, resulting in critical injuries. Despite extensive treatment over the past week, Atharv succumbed to his injuries early this morning.
