BENGALURU: A man, who remains unidentified, leaped from a moving train off a railway bridge about 25-30 feet high near the Sheshadripuram area, sustaining serious injuries and is currently fighting for his life.
He has significant injuries to his back and right leg, and it is believed he may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the jump. Traffic police and local authorities transported the injured man to Victoria Hospital.
Witnesses reported that he jumped from the train as it was heading towards Majestic, and fortunately, no vehicles were passing beneath the bridge at that moment. His identity has yet to be determined.
