Bengaluru, Karnataka – The Jigani Police have apprehended Parvez Ahmed, a 57-year-old Mumbai resident, on allegations of facilitating the illegal entry and settlement of Pakistani nationals in Bengaluru. The arrest comes after authorities uncovered Ahmed’s involvement in providing fraudulent identity documents, including fake Aadhaar cards and passports, to a recently detained Pakistani family.
The investigation revealed that the Pakistani family implicated Ahmed by disclosing his personal details, leading to his swift arrest at the Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station in the city. This operation follows the detention of four foreign nationals who were residing illegally in Bengaluru, an action taken by the Jigani Police on September 29.
A formal case has been registered at the Jigani Police Station in connection with these offenses. Authorities are continuing their efforts to dismantle the network involved in the illegal migration and settlement of foreign nationals within India.
As the investigation progresses, the Bengaluru Police remain committed to ensuring the security and integrity of the region by cracking down on such illicit activities.
