PALAKKAD (Kerala): In a tragic incident on Saturday, four workers lost their lives after being struck by an express train near Shoranur in Palakkad district, Kerala, police reported. Details of the incident are still being collected.

In a separate event earlier today, Gonda railway station in Uttar Pradesh witnessed a security scare. A bomb threat on the 12565 Bihar Sampark Kranti Express, traveling from Darbhanga to Delhi, led to the train being stopped at Gonda station. Authorities conducted a thorough search of all coaches, the engine, and the guard’s compartment before allowing the train to proceed.
