Gujarat: Six individuals lost their lives when a wall of a construction site belonging to a private company fell near Jasalpur village in Kadi taluka, according to police reports on Saturday.
Emergency services, including police and ambulances, arrived promptly at the scene after the incident was reported. Dr. Hasrat Jasmine, the District Development Officer of Mehsana, stated, “This private company was still under construction. The collapse occurred around 1:45 PM. We have learned that 9 to 10 workers were present, and six bodies have been recovered so far.
A 19-year-old male was rescued alive and mentioned that 8 to 9 people were working at the site. We believe there are still 2 to 3 individuals trapped inside. We hope for their safe rescue.”
Rescue operations are ongoing, and further information is expected.
