Hassan: A shocking incident unfolded on the outskirts of Hassan, where a notorious Pudi rowdy created havoc by stopping a private bus and attempting an attack with a long machete. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, around 2 AM, near Devarayapattana on the bypass road.
According to reports, a private bus traveling from Bengaluru to Mangaluru was intercepted by a Swift car bearing the registration number KA 51 MV 8912. The assailant blocked the bus, got down from the vehicle, and created a ruckus before smashing the bus windows in a fit of rage.
Passengers captured the entire incident on their mobile phones, and the video has since gone viral on social media. Following the uproar, the police have launched an operation to apprehend the accused.
This alarming event has raised serious concerns among commuters, with many questioning the safety of those traveling in cars and two-wheelers if buses themselves are not spared from such attacks.
