Bangalore : HEJJE, India’s first luxury transition care centre, has officially opened its doors in Bangalore, setting a new benchmark in recovery and rehabilitation. Inaugurated by Dr. M.R. Seetharam, Vice Chairman of the Ramaiah Group of Institutions and former Minister, the centre aims to bridge the gap between hospital care and home recovery.

The launch event, held ahead of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, featured a panel discussion with prominent figures including Dr. Nandini Mundkur, Prof. Shekar Sheshadri, Dr. Saraswathy Viswanathan, Dr. Arjun Srivatsa, and Mr. B.S. Badrinath Rao. Attendees were given a guided tour of HEJJE’s state-of-the-art facilities, which integrate advanced medical technology with luxury hospitality.

A Pioneering Initiative by the Ramaiah Group

HEJJE is an initiative of the renowned M.S. Ramaiah Family Conglomerate, a leader in healthcare and medical education for over 40 years. The facility combines the expertise of the Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, known for its global standard of care, and the cutting-edge research capabilities of the Ramaiah Group.

Co-founders Sunder Ram and Dr. Varun Devdass emphasized HEJJE’s groundbreaking approach. “HEJJE is the first facility in India to combine luxury hospitality with evidence-based rehabilitation. From autism and cerebral palsy to stroke and traumatic brain injuries, our advanced technologies and therapies offer a healing environment that addresses both physical and mental health,” they said.

Located in MSR North City, Hebbal, HEJJE offers 20 premium inpatient rooms, outpatient services, and daycare facilities. Its innovations include:

  • Oculus VR Therapy to enhance cognitive outcomes.
  • Unweighing Systems for mobility training.
  • Robotic Laser Therapy for pain management and tissue repair.
  • Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (RTMS) for neurological and psychological conditions.
