HYDERABAD: S Sripad, the spouse of Divya Jyoti, a recently transferred former deputy executive engineer (DEE) at GHMC, has accused her of accepting bribes and hoarding money at their residence. He publicly disclosed these allegations, claiming his wife is involved in corrupt activities.
Sripad posted videos on social media showing what he alleges is approximately Rs 30 lakh in bribe money. He also claimed that his wife purchased a new house worth Rs 1.2 crore and bought vehicles for her brothers.
In the videos, Sripad showed bundles of cash concealed in various areas of their home and asserted that his wife frequently accepts bribes in her work with the civic organization. He further stated that when he tried to convince Divya Jyoti to stop her corrupt behavior, she allegedly scolded him. Consequently, Sripad has decided to file for divorce and reveal her purported wrongdoing.
