Pune : A 17-year-old student in class 12 from a junior college in Baramati, Pune, was reportedly murdered by two fellow students of the same age, both of whom are also enrolled at the same college.
This tragic event took place on the TC College of Arts, Commerce, and Science campus around 11:30 am on Monday. The victim was a Science stream student, while one of the suspects is from the Science stream as well, and the other is from the Commerce stream.
Initial reports suggest the attack resulted from a previous disagreement among the three students involving their motorcycles. A police officer at the Baramati police station stated, “We are verifying the details and examining the incident from all angles.”
He further noted that one suspect has been detained while efforts are ongoing to locate the second. CCTV footage from the campus reportedly shows one suspect attacking the victim with a knife, while the other used a sickle.
Following the violent confrontation, the suspects fled the scene. The victim was quickly transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
