Man Killed in Bengaluru Over Dispute for Sleeping Spot

BENGALURU: A disagreement over a sleeping spot turned deadly in Bengaluru as a local man, identified as Kumar, was allegedly murdered by another man, Krishnamurthy, near Muneshwara Temple. The incident occurred on Deepavali night when Kumar chose to sleep near the temple rather than at his home, unknowingly taking over Krishnamurthy’s usual spot.

The argument reportedly began over a simple bedsheet and quickly escalated into a violent altercation. In a tragic outcome, Krishnamurthy allegedly attacked and killed Kumar before fleeing the scene. Following an investigation, Avalahalli police tracked down Krishnamurthy and arrested him.

The incident has drawn attention to the unfortunate circumstances faced by those without permanent shelter, highlighting the dangers they often encounter over limited resources and space.
