The much-anticipated OnePlus 13 is set to launch in China on October 31 at 4 PM (local time), following months of speculation and teasers. Positioned as the successor to the OnePlus 12, the company has also unveiled the handset’s design and colour options, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come.
Design and Colour Options
The OnePlus 13 will be available in three colours: blue, black, and white. While the black and white models feature sleek, minimalist finishes, the blue variant stands out with a dual-tone design, showcasing a white camera island for added contrast.
A key design tweak is the detached camera module, now positioned as a separate circular element on the left side of the device, breaking from the traditional chassis-integrated style. Another noticeable shift is the Hasselblad branding, which has moved from the camera module to a new spot on the top-right, resting above a slim horizontal metal strip. Despite these changes, the overall design retains a strong resemblance to the OnePlus 12.
Spotted Ahead of Launch
The OnePlus 13 has already created buzz after being spotted at the Peacekeeper Elite 2024 e-sports event in China. Players were seen holding what appears to be the OnePlus 13, sparking excitement ahead of the official unveiling.
Specifications (Expected)
The handset will feature a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO BOE X2 OLED display with 10-bit colour depth and a 120Hz refresh rate. A local refresh rate feature is also expected, potentially enhancing both performance and battery life. In addition, OnePlus has teased improvements in system performance, gaming, eye protection, battery optimization, and imaging capabilities.
With just days to go before its debut, the OnePlus 13 is already shaping up to be a noteworthy flagship for 2024.
