Eluru, Andhra Pradesh: Pawan Kalyan, Janasena Party (JSP) Chief and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, announced the formation of a dedicated party wing, the ‘Narasimha Varahi Brigade,’ to protect and uphold Sanatana Dharma. Speaking in Jagannadhapuram village, Kalyan stated that those who criticize or speak against Sanatana Dharma on social media would be held accountable by this new wing.
Expressing respect for all religions while affirming his faith, Kalyan declared, “I respect all religions, but my commitment to Sanatana Dharma is unwavering. Anyone speaking disrespectfully about it will have to face consequences.”
Kalyan introduced the new initiative while also launching the ‘Deepam-2’ free cooking gas cylinder scheme aimed at providing three gas cylinders annually to over 1 crore beneficiaries, costing the government ₹13,425 crore over five years. The Deputy Chief Minister emphasized the coalition’s commitment to prioritizing welfare and safety, especially for women and girls, pledging strict action against threats or harassment.
Kalyan criticized YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders, claiming that despite the limited support of only 11 seats, their actions on social media have been problematic. He warned that the government would no longer tolerate false accusations or disrespectful behavior, particularly toward women, and assured that abusive social media activity would face strict monitoring and repercussions.
Highlighting his long-standing connection with the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple in Jagannathapuram, Kalyan pledged his support for its development. He shared that a budget of ₹2.5 crore has been proposed for the temple’s construction, along with ₹2 crore for building a protective wall around it.
With these initiatives, Pawan Kalyan’s JSP reinforces its commitment to preserving cultural values and advancing welfare in Andhra Pradesh.
