The re-release of the Japanese-Indian anime film ‘Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama,’ originally slated for October 18, has been postponed.
The team announced the change in a social media update, stating that the release date will be modified. Geek Pictures India, in partnership with AA Films and Excel Entertainment, explained that the delay aims to allow the film to reach a broader audience. “Geek Pictures expresses sincere gratitude to the Indian public for their overwhelming love and support for Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama.”
In response to the tremendous excitement from fans across the country, the company has chosen to change the release date from the initially planned October 18 to a soon-to-be-announced new date, emphasizing their dedication to making this iconic film accessible to all parts of India. The film will be shown in Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu. It was originally released at the International Film Festival of India in 1993 before being aired on television, fondly remembered by many as the ‘Cartoon Network Ramayana.’
