Police Launch Investigation, Insider Role Suspected

The robbers fled with valuables, including cash and jewellery worth approximately ₹2 crore. Singh immediately alerted his son, who lives separately in Delhi, and the son called the police at 2:30 PM.

A police team quickly arrived at the scene, collected evidence, and took the couple for medical examinations. Multiple police teams—at least six—have been formed to track down the culprits.

According to a senior police officer, investigators suspect that someone close to the family may be involved, given the precision of the attack. CCTV footage from the area has been retrieved, and statements from neighbors and family members have been recorded as part of the ongoing probe.
