Salman Khan Receives New Death Threat with Rs 5 Crore

Mumbai, November 5: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has reportedly received a fresh death threat along with an extortion demand of Rs 5 crore, according to Mumbai Police. The threat was communicated via a message sent to the Mumbai traffic police helpline, which was discovered by an officer around midnight, officials said.

The message warns that if Salman Khan wishes to stay alive, he must either apologize at the Bishnoi community’s temple or pay the demanded Rs 5 crore. The individual sending the message claims to be a relative of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently imprisoned on multiple charges, including extortion and attempted murder.

“If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our (Bishnoi community) temple and apologise or pay Rs 5 crore. If he does not do so, we will kill him; our gang is still active,” the message read.

Following this new threat, police have ramped up security measures around the actor and are actively investigating the origin of the message. Authorities are also examining possible links to Lawrence Bishnoi, given his past involvement in criminal activities and previous threats against the actor.

This is not the first time Salman Khan has faced threats, with recent cases linked to organized crime networks. The actor’s security was previously heightened due to earlier threats, and his safety continues to be a priority for law enforcement agencies.
