A tragic incident unfolded in Andhra Pradesh’s Kakinada district during Diwali celebrations, as three generations of a family—Bathula Ramesh, his son Bathula Chinni, and grandson Bathula Raju—were brutally killed following a violent clash between two groups. The confrontation took place in Kajuluru village on Thursday night.
The victims were found in a pool of blood, with severe head injuries and sickles nearby. Initial police investigations suggest the conflict stemmed from longstanding rivalries between the families, reportedly intensified by derogatory remarks made by the victims towards the accused families.
“We are examining all aspects of the case, and preliminary evidence indicates a deep-rooted feud between the families involved. We are making efforts to arrest the suspects soon,” said senior police official Ramakrishna Rao. Authorities are continuing the investigation to uncover further details surrounding the motive and identities of those involved.
