Vijayapura: In a successful operation, the Vijayapura police apprehended two individuals involved in multiple thefts and recovered stolen goods valued at over ₹9 lakh. The suspects have been identified as Sameer Inamdar and Moshina Kaladagi.
The arrests were made in separate incidents. One suspect was caught red-handed while attempting to burgle a house near Sindagi Naka during a night patrol. The other was nabbed while stealing motorcycles from various locations.
The recovered loot includes gold (100 grams) and silver (120 grams), valued at ₹7,59,600. Additionally, four motorcycles, worth ₹2,20,000, were seized from the accused.
Cases have been registered at the Gol Gumbaz and Vijayapura Rural police stations. Commending the swift action, the Superintendent of Police lauded the team’s vigilance and dedication in cracking the cases.
